The Italian manufacturer BWA is expanding its Premium range with a new 9.28-metre model that takes its place in the middle of the range. Its modern and refined design gives it a high-end feel, while its comfortable layout is of high quality. This semi-rigid maxi has a great habitability thanks to its width of 3.50 m, a feeling accentuated by the teak floor arranged transversely.
In the centre of the boat, the centre console clears two wide gangways to reach the foredeck. These have been widened without damaging the RIB's tubular structure. On the console, the stainless steel handrails follow the profile of the windscreen.
In this space, there is a large sunbathing area covering large chests, which transforms into a square. Always with a view to refinement, the edges of the cushions have the same colour as the socks. At the front of the steering console, a bench seat for two people with a backrest on the roof looks like a chaise longue.
Below deck, there is a cabin with a nice headroom of 2 m with a saloon that converts into a double berth. The separate toilet (optional) is equipped with a sink, toilet and shower. As standard, the BWA 30 Premium is equipped with a marine toilet.
But the BWA 30 Premium is not only a comfortable semi-rigid. It is also high-performance and sporty, a feeling accentuated by its design. On the console, note the glazing covered with a dark grille. This design is also found on the roll bar, which supports the bimini (optional), and integrates the sound system speakers and cockpit lighting (optional).
The vertical dashboard is protected by a very high windscreen and is reminiscent of that of luxury cars (visible seams, fabric...). The driver's double bench seat has a high backrest and covers a kitchenette with double refrigerator (the second is optional). Behind, the cockpit shelters two large benches with a folding table, which can be transformed into a large sundeck.
The water is drained off naturally thanks to four gutters inserted under the floor. At the stern, two beautiful bathing platforms provide easy access to the water, despite the double outboard motorization. The entrance to the cockpit, which is closed by a wicket door, is on the port side.
The BWA can be equipped with several engines. With 2x300 HP Evinrude, the shipyard announces a very stable boat, capable of going fast and perfectly manoeuvrable. The lowest fuel consumption is 0.6 liter/mile at 38 knots. Under optimal conditions, BWA specifies that the 30 Premium can reach a cruising speed of 45 knots at 4800 rpm, with the best performance at 56 knots. Its V-shaped hull ensures fast passage at sea with minimal fuel consumption.
