Nautic of Paris 2023 cancelled, a return to the water in 2024?

This March 21, 2023 was held the annual general meeting of the FIN where was announced the hypothetical renewal of the Paris Boat Show. Here are the tracks evoked for the future of the Nautic.

Rethinking the Paris Boat Show

Prior to the last edition of the Paris Boat Show in December 2022, the organizers had recognized that in its current format, the show was not viable. Gathered in a single hall, the boats were few in number, especially the sailboats. At the end of this 61st edition, nearly 250 professionals took part in some 20 workshops to design the future of the new Paris show, for visitors and professionals.

No Paris Boat Show in 2023

In order to work on this new event, the federation's board of directors has decided not to organize a show in December 2023. The next Paris Nautic show will be held in mid-October 2024. The first change concerns the date, which has been brought forward by one and a half months.

The duration of the show is also shortened, previously 9 days. Finally, the organization indicates that it wants to create an in and outdoor event, which implies leaving Paris. Does this mean that boats could be exhibited on the water with the possibility of being tested?

The FIN announced to organize an event in October 2023 to present the outline of what will be the new Nautic.
