The Wave Boat, a boat powered by a jet ski

Sealver is a shipyard based in the Landes region of France that produces boats and RIBs propelled and steered by a jet ski. A playful way to combine pleasure and water sports.

Sealver was born 10 years ago, by releasing its first model, the 5.25, a Wave Boat of 5.25 m, powered by a jet-ski. The idea was to be able to combine boating and nautical activities. Thus, the jet-ski fits into the boat and allows to direct and propel it. But the jet-ski can also be detached to practice individually.

"Let's imagine a family of 4 people, who love boating and jet-skiing. During a sea trip, you need a trailer for the boat and a trailer for the jet-ski, which means 2 cars. With Sealver boats, a single trailer is enough to transport everything and combine the two pleasures explains the brand's creator.

Today, the range consists of 5 models, two in the rigid range and three in the semi-rigid range. "We've evolved our lineup based on the engine, because when we started, it was 160 HP and we couldn't push everything with it."

The WB 525 a 5.25 m pleasure boat that can accommodate up to 6 people, divided between the motorcycle and the boat.

The WB 575 a 5.75 m semi-rigid with PVC or Hypalon floats and a sunbathing area in the bow (or without for more space on board).

The WB 626 this is the most spacious RIB in the range, with a length of 6.26 m, a large front sundeck (with a trunk underneath) and plenty of room to move around on board.

The WB 656 the new 2015 model is a true sport boat, with a high bow and therefore more suitable for leisure or family use. It has a large space on board and the accessories are customizable according to the needs.

The WB 676 which will be released in 2016.

All boats are compatible with the three major brands of jet skis, namely Yamaha, Seadoo and Kawasaki, with propulsion from 90 to 300 HP. And of course, each jet can be adapted to the boat, thanks to a connecting piece.

The boats can be used for different programs: family pleasure, fishing, nautical activity, but also as a support for the rescue thanks to an excellent maneuverability and a beautiful surface or as a dinghy for the boats between 12 and 15 m.

"We're also looking at adapting other jets with more carries to be recognized as a boat."
