At first glance, the boat leaves no doubt as to its fishing vocation. Relying on a solid aluminum hull with decorated sides, the Lund features an open bow with a platform and a cockpit that can accommodate up to six people. The bow, slightly raised, highlights the V-shaped bow, confirming this bay boat's marine potential. These possibilities are also made possible by its size (21'10''), which is starting to look big in this category.

Once aboard, the first thing you notice is the waterproof carpeting, the hallmark of American fishing boats. Taking advantage of its length, the 2175 features a cockpit with four individual seats, plus two folding seats integrated into the rear platform. The rear platform, though modest, has enough space for one fisherman. It conceals two storage compartments and a good-sized livewell. As well as cup holders and rod holders.
A pretty versatile layout
On the starboard aft side, a swim ladder provides access to the liquid element just in case, while the port aft section accommodates an auxiliary motor for trolling or general fishing action. Despite the large number of seats, it's relatively easy to move around on board, and there's storage space all over the place, starting with a long storage area in the sides for a few rods, and a tilting storage area for 9 lure boxes.

Between the two seats and between the two consoles, a very large compartmentalized locker holds fishing rods. Once closed, it also marks the beginning of the front platform. Raised and uncluttered, it's perfect for a fisherman. The front section has space for the electric motor with a 12-volt socket, while each section of the floor opens to give access to storage compartments, including a cooler and two other livewells.
Sunbathing for the family
A fishing seat can of course be installed, and the nets on each side of the boat are ideal for storing small personal effects. Proof of its versatility, this platform can also be fitted with optional sunbathing mattresses. However, to close the passage between the two consoles, you'll need to buy an optional accessory.

Back in the cockpit, we appreciate the steering position. Very functional, it offers ample space for the gauges and features a small pocket and glove compartment. One or two screens can easily be mounted on top of the dashboard, and a lure box is housed in the lower part of this console. Good point again for the phone holder/charger and the lure holder. The throttle is easy to reach, and the windscreen return provides effective protection for the rider. And last but not least, the optional suspension seat gives an immediate indication of the boat's performance...
