At the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, from September 24 to 27, the Zeelander shipyard unveils the Zeelander 8, its 24-meter flagship model. An opportunity to observe how Dutch expertise translates into a yacht where silence on board, finishes and personalization have been placed at the heart of the specifications.

A unique acoustic approach for a motor yacht
The Zeelander 8 boasts noise levels below 65 dBA, even at 32 knots. This threshold places this model among the quietest in its class, thanks to a particularly sophisticated acoustic engineering approach. The design aims to reduce mechanical vibrations, notably through reinforced soundproofing of the engine compartment and a targeted choice of damping materials.
The standard propulsion system provides comfortable cruising speeds, but more powerful engines are available as options, raising potential to 40 knots.

Optimizing interior volumes: 80 feet of space put to good use
With a length of 24 meters and a controlled draught, the Zeelander 8 makes the most of every cubic meter. The standard configuration offers three cabins on the lower deck, including a mid-length master cabin with a headroom of over 2.10 m. The large side openings provide a natural light that is rare in this segment. The large side openings offer a natural luminosity rare in this segment.
The interior layout remains flexible: the first Zeelander 8 unit, presented at Monaco, relocates the galley to the starboard side, freeing up a lounge area in the central section.

Full customization by the shipyard
Each Zeelander 8 is tailored to the owner's wishes. The shipyard offers support via its integrated design office. This process goes beyond the choice of materials to include layout modifications.
The first unit features a bespoke layout, with the bar moved aft, creating an enlarged living space at the front of the cockpit. This modularity is made possible by a technical architecture designed from the outset to be modular.

Curves and style: the choice of hulls
The Zeelander 8's silhouette is based on a resolutely curved design, inherited from the shipyard's identity. The soft lines of the hull and coachroof not only reduce aerodynamic drag, but also help to blend in better with the coastal landscape.
The opening rear deck and retractable rear windows offer a semi-open configuration, ideal for Mediterranean climates. The hull shape avoids sharp angles and preserves pitching smoothness for fast sailing.

Positioning the Zeelander 8 in the 80-foot segment
The Zeelander 8 competes with models such as the Riva 76 or Princess S78, but stands out for its more artisanal approach and its attention to silence on board. The shipyard relies on limited production and direct contact with each customer.
