An exhibition open to all

Located on the Old Port, the America's Cup Experience Center is a unique exhibition space offering visitors a captivating immersion in the history of the competition, combined with facilities, restaurants and stores.

Right from the entrance, visitors are greeted by a replica of the agent's aiguillère, giving an idea of the size of the world's oldest sporting trophy. AC 75 foils have also been installed in the hall to give visitors a scale of these impressive appendages.

IMAX film and interactive experience

The tour continues with an impressive interactive corridor in which some 90 screens retrace the history of the Cup, with an impressive compilation of archive images and interviews from the era.
The incredible technological evolution that the Cup has undergone is clear for all to see, making it without a doubt the most technologically advanced sailing discipline in the world.

We then enter a huge auditorium, where an IMAX-format film recounts the most memorable events of the Cup.
An AC75 simulator

Visitors then enter a large room housing two AC75 simulators. After sitting on a platform mounted on hydraulic jacks, the visitor puts on a virtual reality helmet, which will take you aboard an AC75 in the middle of a match race.

Fans and misters add an extra touch of realization. The violent movements of a real AC 75 are muted, of course, but your seat will still feel a little jarring. From a virtual helm station, your helmet gives you a full view of the water or your sail plan.
Business is Business

Finally, the tour ends with a presentation of each team's personal navigation equipment, and a brief look at the on-board equipment.

Beyond the sporting and educational aspects, the center also features a restaurant and souvenir store. But be warned: it will cost you around 75? to bring back a simple polo shirt bearing the logo of the union you wish to wear. Finally, you'll be charged ?15 for admission, plus an additional ?4 for access to the simulator.
