The Windelo finds itself up against slightly smaller units such as the Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47, the Bali 4.8, the Balance 482 or the Lagoon 46, as well as the Sunreef 50, the Privilège Signature 510, the Leopard 50 or the Lagoon 51, and the list goes on.
To survive in the midst of such competition, you need to bring fresh ideas or a very competitive price to the table.
Competitive pricing
As far as innovations are concerned, between its basalt fiber construction, forward helm stations, folding aft cockpit and electric motorization, the Windelo 50 is not lacking in arguments. The Windelo 50 also allows you to customize the deck layout to create the boat of your dreams. Finally, the 50 fearures some pretty good performances.
Price-wise, with a base price of just under $1.2 million, the Windelo 50 is well positioned. It's almost on a par with a Lagoon 51, a little longer, and still far less expensive than a Sunreef 50, Privilège Signature 510 or even an Outremer 52.
The price will then depend on the degree of customization required - for the four-cabin version, for example, you'll need to add $12,000 - and of course on the decoration and equipment chosen, given that the possibilities are numerous.
