Wallypower50 links the wallytenders and wallypowers ranges

Wally has unveiled 3D images of the second model in its wallypower range. The wallypower50 - which comes in both inboard and outboard versions - has been designed to bridge the gap between the Italian manufacturer's two powerboat ranges, offering a more open deck layout.

Linking the two worlds of Wally powerboats

In 2014, Wally launched the first Wally Power 50 . Now taken over by Ferretti, the shipyard presents a new wallypower50 concept. This new model will bridge the gap between the wallytenders and wallypowers ranges. It combines the options of both ranges. Basically, it is based on the same design as the wallypower58, unveiled in 2022, offering the same comfort for day or weekend cruising. However, the idea was to create a bridge between the more open styling of the wallytender43 and wallytender48 and that of the wallypower58. The result is a unit that adapts to a wide range of programs, from support vessels to cruisers. An extensive list of options means it can be adapted to the wishes of different owners.

A distinctive design, options from both worlds

Its clean lines and bow design are reminiscent of the greatest wallypowers, but the wallypower50 has the thick scroll of a wallytender.

The boat also offers an alternative to the wallypower58's central aft sundeck, with two separate sundecks that optimize deck space, particularly when the bulwarks are deployed. This technical feature, borrowed from the wallypower58, saves an additional 6 m2 of space.

The cockpit offers ample seating for up to 8 people under the roof, and four facing the road by converting the sunbathing areas into bench seating. The foredeck, reduced in size to provide a large, protected aft living space, offers a sunbathing area. Below deck is a cabin with double bed, sofa and bathroom. Light from a deck hatch can be increased tenfold with the addition of extra portholes, in the manner of the wallypower58.

Inboard or outboard version

The new wallypower50 uses the same propulsion system as the wallytender48. Two Volvo Penta IPS650 engines coupled to a joystick should provide a top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots. The deep-V hull is also available in a wallypower50 X version, with four 400-hp Mercury outboards propelling her to 48 knots. A final option with 4x500-hp Mercury Racing outboards takes it to over 50 knots.
