A production focused on small opens
Based in Turkey, the Yerliyrut Marin shipyard specializes in the production of low cost open hulls. Founded in 1984, the production site is located in the west of the country, between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. Little known in France, the Turkish shipbuilding industry has many shipyards, most of which are specialized in yachting.
Yerliyrut offers a range of 19 models, from 3.75 to 7m. Manufactured in polyester using proven processes, Yerlirut offers different levels of fittings to suit different programs. It is thus possible to choose the open in a central console version, or with a fully open cockpit.
The 4.70, versatility is the key word
The best-seller of the Turkish shipyard is the 4.70, which has many arguments in its favor. Its low displacement and its pronounced V-shaped hull allow it to reach 36 knots with a 60 hp long shaft. This motorization also allows to practice towed sports such as water skiing or towed buoys.
Its self-bailing cockpit is very ergonomic, offering a fluid circulation and numerous storage spaces. The large front sundeck, the swim ladder and the stainless steel bimini make it ideal for family use at anchor.
But fishermen are not left out. Some of the chests, equipped with a drainpipe, can be converted into a livewell for a fishing program.
An accessible range available in France
Distributed in France by Casse Marine Enlèvement in Sausset les Pins, Yerliyrut's production has met with great success among French yachtsmen. The Turkish range also attracts professional charterers, who are looking for both solid and easy to maintain units. The manager of Casse Marine Enlèvement, Florent Cassegrain, confirms this craze with French customers:
"Thanks to its excellent price-quality ratio, the Yerliyrut range has immediately won over our various customers. We have a majority of the range in stock, and we offer the other models on order. We sell our hulls free of motorization, so that each customer can choose the brand of his engine. Thanks to an important network of engine manufacturers, we are able to offer our boats with a majority of the brands available on the market."
As an example, a Yerliyrut 450 equipped with a 50 hp and a CBS road trailer is offered at 13,990 euros, ready to sail, which makes it one of the most accessible models on the market.
