TZ iBoat is a navigation application that runs on iOS (Apple). It offers all the services that boaters can expect. It is the only one that offers both map display with the choice between vector maps and raster maps (ex-paper maps).
Its weather module is also particularly sharp with a time line that scrolls singularly intuitive.
The new version that is now offered to sailors includes a logbook. Simply by triggering the recording at the beginning of the navigation, the application records all the events (heading position and speed of the boat, but also the recording of photos or the data on the fish caught during a fishing session.
All these data are stored on TimeZero's server and become the memory of your boat. Easily, you can replay old navigations or even share them with other users of the application.
The TZ iBoat application can be downloaded for free. It will then be necessary to choose a chart pack to complete it (between 40 and 70 euros/year). As is often the case, this application displays the boat's data (central navigation or even AIS) provided that the boat transmits this information in Wifi.
