A vintage that improves with time

Launched by Bernard Badets in 1986, the B2Marine shipyard will celebrate its 30th anniversary next April. But it has managed to keep its DNA over the years despite the evolution of the market: " We build family sailing boats, simple and practical motor boats, while remaining easy to transport "Bertrand Badets, the founder's son and current director of the shipyard, explains. " This is a very competitive segment of boats, but customers remain very attached to our brand. We produce about 150 units per year. "
A very heterogeneous range of transportables

The Gironde-based shipyard offers about twenty models, all of which share the same DNA. " We mainly produce motorboats, but we also offer a range of small sailboats. The size of the motorboats varies from 4.52 m to 6.95 m. The Open range is the most requested by our customers. With about twenty models in the catalog, we can adapt to each client's program. We offer several layout options: open, cruiser (with a small cabin), sun deck or tiller."

"In sailboats, we offer two models: the Blue Djinn (6.10 m) and the Djinn 7 (7.20 m), which are both dinghies."

Made In France Cocorico!

In spite of a very active competition on this type of boats, B2Marine succeeded in maintaining all its production on the French soil. " All our hulls are made in our factory in Latresne, near Bordeaux, the tops and tauds come from Vendée, the stainless steel and the balconies from Marans, the saddlery from Clermond. We favour short circuits. This proves that controlled production and costs, combined with a well-designed boat, allow us to maintain a French production "explains Bertrand.

With a staff of about twenty employees, the company relies on distributors based in several European countries, the West Indies and even New Caledonia. And the success is there! All of this year's production has already been sold, and it will now be a good year before delivery.
A hyperactive Blue Djinn class

The Blue Djin owners association organizes many events each year, creating a dynamic and unique class spirit. Several dozen owners gather every year, making it one of the most dynamic classes in Europe.
