Rear cockpit: a choice of simple or user-friendly design

The aft cockpit of the Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2 can be arranged in two ways: uncluttered for fishing activities, or convivial to accommodate a crew. Folding bench seats along the coamings fold down with a simple press, freeing up all the space needed to install traps, livewells and ensure smooth circulation during fishing.

When deployed, they form a saloon seating six to eight guests around a fixed table. Under the floor, a spacious locker can accommodate a small generator, useful for on-board air-conditioning during summer moorings.

Fast-tracking through the passageways and cut-off doors

Passageways ensure efficient circulation. The wider starboard side opens directly onto the wheelhouse via a sliding door, while an integrated gangway in the gunwale facilitates boarding with bulky equipment or children. It is also practical for mooring maneuvers. The port passageway, narrower and without a door, is mainly used as an auxiliary walkway or as a support when moving around.

Foredeck saloon: a "second saloon

At the bow, the deck becomes a veritable second saloon. The bench seat can be converted into a sundeck with the addition of cushions, while an optional table and side seat create a dining area protected by a shade cloth.

The windlass, positioned on the starboard side and slightly raised, remains accessible while preserving circulation.

Wheelhouse: clarity, ventilation, conversions

The wheelhouse benefits from plenty of light thanks to its large glass surface and two opening hoods, which also ensure good ventilation. Air-conditioning is therefore reserved only for the hottest days. The space is modular: the port saloon can be transformed into a single berth by lowering the table, and the back of the front seat can be tilted to create a navigation-oriented seating area.

The starboard side features a Jeanneau-style kitchenette with fold-down top, sink, stove and 60-liter refrigerator under the pilot's seat.
Helm station: modern controls, easy-to-read display

The helm station features modern ergonomics. The swivel seat is combined with a footrest, while the navigation screens, up to 12 inches depending on configuration, offer clear, direct reading. The bow thruster joystick is within easy reach, and the instrument panel allows simple monitoring of all essential systems: pumps, lights, anchors. The side door, adjacent to the cockpit, considerably reduces the time spent between steering wheel and cleat during maneuvers.
Nights on board: two cabins, one bathroom
For overnight accommodation, the Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2 offers two cabins and a shower room.

Up front, the owner's cabin boasts a generously-sized double bed and practical storage space.

At the stern, a walk-through cabin accommodates two additional berths, with limited height above the mattress but real privacy for a second couple.

The starboard bathroom includes a marine toilet, a washbasin with hand shower and an opening porthole. These features make short independent cruises possible with a crew of four.
