With the abandonment of the "Marlin" name, Jeanneau has done away with the single-purpose connotation and claimed a "crossover" helmsman. The Merry Fisher 895 Sport heads a family completed by the 695 and 795: same protective hull logic, same secure freeboards, but a more open wheelhouse and living areas that can be transformed according to the activity planned.

Helmsman's DNA, cruising requirements
Inverted windshield to limit glare, generous glazed areas for keeping watch, high freeboard for support when fishing: the architecture remains "safety-minded". The Series 2 adds a wide side door in the starboard side plating, a rare feature in this size range, which can be used for loading and unloading bags in complete safety, or for hauling a hawser close to the quay.

Traffic and handling at the heart of specifications
The aim is to reduce level breaks and make moving around with a bucket, a scuba tank or a tray full of victuals as easy as possible.

This ergonomic work is accompanied by a treatment of atmosphere: sober colors, robust upholstery, easy-care fabrics, for living outdoors without apprehension.
Targets and limits

The 895 Sport Series 2 is designed for a family crew or active fishermen, two to four adults on a mini-cruise. Its strengths: direct access, modular deck layout, watch visibility. To be monitored according to use: choice of shade options (awning), anchoring package, cold volume and energy management if you're aiming for real weekends in total autonomy.
