Porquerolle's Race 2019 - May 29 to June 2

The first edition of the Porquerolle's Race ended on Sunday June 2nd. Throughout the four days of the event, the 52 competing crews competed in no fewer than 11 races. This last day, the windiest, made it possible to determine the winners of each class: Confluence Sopra DPMF (Group 1), Vito 2 (Group 2), Absolutely II (Group 3), Expresso 2 (Group 4) and Ikra (12 MJI). An appointment has already been set for the 2nd edition of this well-born event in May 2020.

The Va'a Vendée - May 29 to June 1

The Vendée Va'a, a Polynesian pirogue race, brought together 25 crews for 3 days on a course on the high seas from Les Sables-d'Olonne.

After two challenging first races for the rowers, the final 56 km stage - the longest - was held in the blazing sun. ArMen Race Uship - May 30 to June 2

Pétole will be the word that will summarize this edition of the ArMen Race Uship, which started on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Quiberon Bay. Seven starts were given for the twelve categories competing. 191 crews set off on the 210 miles of the ArMen Race Uship or the 100 miles of the ArMen Night in 10 to 12 knots of wind. Among which 175 amateurs, 7 IMOCA, 3 Ultims and 1 Multi50.

For this 9th edition, the conditions were very calm in terms of wind, but very steady in terms of nerves. The competitors had to be patient and perseverant to complete the course. 145 boats crossed the line before it closed on Sunday at 8 a.m.

Sodebo (Thomas Coville) won this edition in the Ultim category in 1 day, 3 hours, 59 minutes and 23 seconds, ahead of Maxi Edmond de Rotschild and Actual. Only in its category, Solidaires en Peloton-Aserp (Thibault Vauchel-Camus) took first place among the first Multi50s. In IMOCA, Initiatives-C?ur (Samantha Davies) is the winner.

The European RS Feva - May 30 to June 2

34 international crews aged 12 to 15 years old gathered to compete on the Le Havre lake from May 30 to June 2. Organised by the SNPH (Sport Nautique et plaisance du Havre), the European RS Feva allowed the budding champions to run 10 races despite a capricious wind and a strong current. The Corsicans won ahead of the Tudor brothers, British, and the Dutch from Wijn, brothers aussi?!

On this European of the series for the first time raced in France, it is clear that the level of play has taken a step forward and that the RS Feva is now the support in double minimes of reference in all French and international clubs..

Grand Prix de l'Ecole Navale - May 30 to June 1

1?000 sailors have entered this 18th edition of the Grand Prix de l'Ecole Navale with a smile. A major event, the most important in France for one-design classes, especially since 6 French championship titles are awarded by the French Sailing Federation.

Wind Challenge - May 30 to June 2

For four days, Gruissan hosted the 19th edition of the Wind Challenge. Eighty kilometres of racing were covered in two rounds to crown Nicolas Warembourg and Delphine Cousin.

1200 windsurfers had come together from 45 countries and five continents.

Solitaire du Figaro - Start of the 1st stage on June 2nd

This Sunday, June 2, marked the start of the first stage of the Solitaire du Figaro 2019 . At 16:25, the 47 solo sailors set off for the first leg of the 50th edition of La Solitaire URGO Le Figaro: 553 miles to go between Pornichet and Kinsale (Ireland) via Port Bourgenay. An eleven-mile bay course should stretch a very powerful fleet at gunfire.
