Tour Bretagne Voile 2025: Victor Le Pape and Lola Billy focus on youth and performance

From June 14 to 22, Région Bretagne-CMB skippers Victor Le Pape and Lola Billy will line up for the Tour Bretagne Voile with promising young co-skippers Tom Goron and Thomas André. Victor is aiming for victory after a disappointing Transat Paprec, while Lola continues her Figaro Bénéteau apprenticeship with enthusiasm and determination. On a demanding course along the Breton coast, youth and energy will be the watchwords for these duos, who are determined to shine.

SailGP lights up the Hudson with the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix this weekend

On June 7 and 8, the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix kicks off the summer in New York, transforming Governors Island into a nautical stadium for the sixth leg of the 2025 season. The 12 national teams, including the Australian leaders recently joined by Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, will compete on the Hudson, while Spain, victorious in San Francisco, will attempt to maintain its momentum. A spectacular regatta in prospect, where speed, spectacle and sporting rivalries will mingle at the foot of New York's skyscrapers.

Libourne hosts the French J18 longboat and senior sprint championships on Lac des Dagueys

From June 6 to 8, the Lac des Dagueys in Libourne will be the scene of the French J18 longboat and senior sprint championships. Nearly 470 crews and 1,750 rowers are expected for three days of intense racing, between juniors in search of a national title and seniors competing in the explosive 500-meter format. To keep a close eye on: the junior men's and women's eights, the mixed doubles, as well as the seniors in the quadruple sculls and eights, where the battle promises to be fierce all the way to the finish line.

Vendée Globe 2028: Paprec unveils its 100% in-house project with Yoann Richomme

The Paprec Group is setting a new milestone by launching an IMOCA project entirely under its colors for the Vendée Globe 2028. Yoann Richomme, runner-up in the last edition, will be at the helm of a latest-generation IMOCA, built at Multiplast and designed by the Antoine Koch / GSEA / Finot-Conq trio. True to its values of innovation and performance, Paprec intends to aim for victory, backed by the experience and trust it has built up with its skipper and technical partners. Vendée Globe 2024: an unprecedented environmental DNA campaign reveals ocean biodiversity on a planetary scale

During the last Vendée Globe, skipper Fabrice Amedeo led a global scientific mission, collecting environmental DNA over 114 days. Using a sensor developed by Citizens of the Sea, 135 samples identified 4,000 species, some of them unknown, and mapped the biodiversity of the three oceans. This unprecedented data, which comes just in time for the opening of the United Nations summit on the oceans, testifies to the richness and fragility of marine ecosystems in the face of global warming.

France's SailGP team ready to take up the challenge in New York with a new partner and the IBKM association

The French SailGP team is preparing to take on the Hudson River for the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix on June 7 and 8. Armen Race Uship 2025 winners crowned despite light conditions

In the Sun Fast 30 OD class, Jean Passini won, and Frank Lavenant and Nils Boyer added their names to the list of winners in the IRC Double-handed class. Alain Duvivier and Ludovic Menahes also won the IRC Solo and IRC Crew races respectively. The Nuit de l'Armen went to Vincent Chobeaux. The Société Nautique de La Trinité-sur-Mer welcomed this 14th edition and the end of race director Hervé Gautier's mission, looking forward to the 15th edition from May 14 to 17, 2026.
