Quentin Vlamynck wears an artistic outfit by Leloluce on the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec

In Roscoff, Quentin Vlamynck took the start of the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec with a brand new outfit. His foulies bear the colors of the association Les Étoiles Filantes. A collaboration that brings together a skipper, an equipment manufacturer and a contemporary artist.

In the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec 2025, Quentin Vlamynck will be sailing in a brand-new outfit. The skipper has teamed up with artist Leloluce and TRIBORD - Decathlon to wear a racing outfit combining technicality, art and solidarity.

It's an approach that appeals to racers and sailing enthusiasts, who are used to seeing innovation on boats but more rarely on sailors' equipment. This collaboration brings together the world of design, the demands of ocean racing and support for a cause.

An outfit inspired by art and solidarity

The special feature of this outfit is the integration of colorful motifs by pop artist Leloluce. Light jacket, dungarees, merino midlayer and lifejacket were co-designed with Vlamynck to meet the demands of demanding sailing. The colors recall those of the association Les Étoiles Filantes, which supports children with brain tumors.

" It's great to see a partner motivated to launch a development project with us, and I immediately accepted the idea... Leloluce's creations are fresh and colorful, the association's children love them and it gives everyone a lot of energy" emphasizes Quentin Vlamynck.

An experimental project for TRIBORD - Decathlon

For the La Rochelle-based equipment manufacturer, this experimental capsule opens up new design avenues. " It was a real technical challenge to create an outfit in the colors of your project, incorporating a work of art" explains product manager Néhémie Westphal. For its part, Leloluce insists on the meeting of two worlds: " Putting art into ocean racing means daring to mix worlds. With Quentin and TRIBORD - Decathlon, we've created an outfit that exudes the color, life and energy of Étoiles Filantes."

Through this project, the skipper from Gironde is extending his commitment alongside the association, already present on his races since 2024. Between sporting performance and solidarity, this initiative illustrates a different way of promoting the open sea.
