The 5 winners 2019 of the "European Motor Boat"

This Saturday, January 19, 2019 was the opening night of the Düsseldorf Boot. Since 2005, the world's largest boat show has been the venue for the election of the European Motor Boat of the Year. Here are the five winners for the year 2019.

The Düsseldorf Boat Show is the largest boat show in the world: 220?000 m2 of exhibition space, 16 halls, 2?000 exhibitors and 1?500 boats on display. In other words, all the best in the nautical world is gathered there. It is for this reason that the first opening evening of the exhibition - in this case on 19 January 2019 - is reserved for the revelation of the Sailing boats and multihulls save motor boats and European motorboats of the year.

Every year, more than 200 new motor boats are launched. It was at the Cannes Yachting Festival - another major European boat show - that the 24 models were chosen from the range of new products.

In addition to the usual characteristics that determine the quality of a boat, such as the strength of the construction or its performance, the overall concept and the price-quality ratio also played a decisive role for the members of the jury in selecting the units.

Up to 25 feet: Noblesse 660

In the category of small units up to 25 feet, the Nordkapp Noblesse 660 wins the 2019 Motorboat of the Year Award. " The Noblesse 660 represents a new concept in the daycruiser market. It offers many solutions and well thought-out details, a well protected cockpit and excellent performance. The 6.5-metre Nordkapp also scored points with its different design."
