Exclusive / Gran Turismo 14.0, a triple outboard for Lomac

Lomac Gran Turismo 14.0

Two years after the release of the smallest model of the GranTurismo range - the 8.5 in 2016 - Lomac completes its range also already composed of the 10.5 (released in 2015). The new GT 14.0 will be presented for the first time at the Cannes Boat Show next September in triple outboard configuration! Double outboard and inboard versions are also available. It's gonna send!

The Italian tyre yard Lomac will present its biggest model of all ranges at the Cannes Yachting Festival next September. The GT 14.0 completes the Granturismo range, already composed of the 10.5 (10.4 m) and 8.5 (8.49 m). This 13.65 m model (without engines) gives the impression of luxury and quality, with lines that are both sporty and fluid.

The boat is currently being tested before its official launch and the results correspond to the shipyard's expectations. A. comfortable hull, good stability and good passage at sea. Initial tests confirm a speed in excess of 50 knots.

The special feature of this model is its triple outboard engine (3x425 HP maximum). It is in this configuration that the model exhibited at Cannes will be presented (the power is not yet defined). A first for Lomac. But the GT 14.0 will also be available with a double outboard or inboard engine for a very large rear deck.

It took the Italian shipyard two years of work and development to bring out this new model which combines the sporty line of the Adrenalina series, but also the sailing comfort and stability at anchor of the Granturismo series.

"The entire project was developed with complex CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to obtain a hull that performs at all speeds and under full load." says Pierre Carpentier, the brand's sales manager.

The entire polyester part is made by infusion, which makes the boat lighter, more robust and less sensitive to the impact of the wave compared to a traditional manufacturing method. The boots are made of neoprene orca.

According to the first visuals, the triple engine still provides a rather generous bathing platform. At the back there is a large sunbathing area and an L-shaped bench with a retractable table. The high freeboard height in the cockpit secures the passage at sea for the youngest in particular.

The cockpit is protected by a large glass T-top and receives a bolster with two ergonomic seats and includes the kitchenette (with refrigerator available in different packs).

The cabin is decorated in woody tones and includes a separate bathroom and a double bed. Thanks to several side windows and three portholes, it should benefit from a beautiful luminosity and a natural ventilation.

Finally, the bow of the boat has a large sunbathing area and two storage compartments.

The yard is still finalizing the prices, so we will have to wait a little longer to know the price of this semi-rigid cruise.
