Day-cruiser and open hulls purchasing guide, motor boats to discover at the Nautic 2017

The Paris Boat Show will open its doors this Saturday, December 2, 2017 with its batch of novelties. What are the motorboats that you won't want to miss this year? Here is a selection of open hulls and day-cruisers for a day at sea in the sun.

444 Wave Boat - Sealver

Sealver, the Landes shipyard that offers jet-ski powered boats, presents its new model: the waveboat 444, a 4.44 m rigid hull. A very simple and accessible entry-level model to discover the brand, at a small price.

Activ 605 and 755 Bowrider

The Activ 555 Bowrider is designed on a new hull, with a new hull. This versatile entry-level boat is aimed at couples and families looking for space in a compact bowrider (5.01 m). The Activ 755 Bowrider features the same hull as the 755 Cruiser introduced in 2016. This 6.99m model is the largest in the range and combines a high level of safety, a streamlined design and an improved level of onboard comfort. Both models offer a modular cockpit and a sundeck on the bow.

AMX28 Woodline

The AMX 28 Woodline is an ambitious project born from the collaboration of three historical companies such as Airon Marine, Riva 1920 and Volvo Penta. The objective was to create an innovative, technological boat combining tradition and sportiness. Thus, this 8.34 m open boat is reminiscent of classic runabouts with its wooden finish while its exterior lines and interior are modern. The Volvo Penta Forward Drive system reduces noise, vibration and completely eliminates annoying fumes in the cockpit.

BMA X222

After the release of the BMA X199 at the end of 2016, the Italian shipyard RibItaly - well known for its BWA RIBs - presents the BMA X222 This 6.99 m open hull is based on the same concept as its little brother: modern lines, a sunbathing area in the front, a pilot's seat that tilts towards the saloon and a seat in front of the console. The only difference will be the rear bench seat, which in this model will leave a central passage to access the rear.

GTD 200

Glastron launches in 2018 a new GTD range composed of 4 boats from 18 to 22 feet. This range offers a new line, which marks the return of the American shipyard to the deck boat. The specificity of this range is its square prow in not in point which makes it possible to optimize the open space on board, and in particular to gain in space on the front with more seats. These boats are 100% customizable, with multiple cockpit configurations, 2 windshield configurations, a hinged door with center step, and a multi-function rear bench seat. The GTD 200 (6.17 m), the smallest model in the range, will be on display at the Paris show.

Pursuit C238

The C238 is the entry-level center console, equipped with a fiberglass hard-top, a center console with a front trunk that can house a toilet and serve as storage, and protected by a high tempered glass windshield. There is a U-shaped seat in the front with a backrest, a pilot and co-pilot bench.

Tringa Boat

Tringa is an amphibious pleasure boat It can move on the road as well as in the water. Thanks to its retractable wheels, it goes quickly from the asphalt to the sea to enjoy a moment on the water with ease.
