In 2024, the Italian shipyard OTAM celebrates its 70th anniversary with the presentation of its latest model, the 90 GTS "Sexy Me". This 28-meter yacht boasts a bespoke design and outstanding performance, particularly during sea trials when it exceeded contractual expectations.
Top design and performance
During sea trials, the OTAM 90 GTS achieved an impressive top speed of 45.4 knots, exceeding the contracted 42 knots. Thanks to two 2,600 hp MTU engines and Arneson surface propellers, this yacht offers fast sailing while maintaining great stability. The hull design by Umberto Tagliavini and Aldo Scorzoni optimizes performance and comfort even in difficult conditions.
Comfort and style on board
The OTAM 90 GTS doesn't sacrifice comfort for sporty performance. Her bespoke interior, using materials such as travertine, marble and 45-degree cut parquet, embodies Italian elegance. The yacht features three en-suite cabins, including a full-width owner's suite below deck. The spacious cockpit and aft bathing platform offer ideal relaxation areas.
A rare artisanal construction
The uniqueness of the OTAM 90 GTS lies in its handcrafted construction process. Every detail is carefully pre-adjusted and assembled on board with millimetric precision. This artisanal approach is increasingly rare in the marine industry, but remains a pillar of OTAM's "Made in Italy" philosophy.
Technologies borrowed from the automotive industry
The yacht's control station is inspired by racing cars, with a carbon fiber structure reminiscent of F1 safety systems. The yacht's sporty design is accentuated by air intakes on the roof and silver metallic paint with bronze accents, specially designed by Awlgrip for the owner.
A fully customizable yacht
OTAM offers a wide range of customization options for its yachts. The 90 GTS can be configured in a semi-open version, such as "Sexy Me", or in other versions such as the HT closed-deck or the forthcoming T-Top. Owners can also collaborate with their own designers via the OTAM CO DESIGN LAB program, guaranteeing a unique yacht true to their vision.
