At the end of a complicated stage full of twists and turns, punctuated by windless zones along the Breton coast, two express crossings of the English Channel and a highly technical course between Wolf Rock and the Isle of Wight, Charlie Dalin showed incredible tenacity, enabling him to end the race with a victory.

He is 3 minutes ahead of Sébastien Simon (Bretagne-Crédit Mutuel Performance), who had taken the lead of the fleet on several occasions, and author of a profitable northern option along the English coast. The final would have been incredibly close.
Sébastien Simon (Bretagne-Crédit Mutuel Performance), crossed the line in second place at 08 h 14 min 56 s, completing the course in 3 days 17 hours 07 minutes and 56 seconds at a speed of 5.67 knots.
Thierry Chabagny (Gedimat) crossed the line at 8 h 15 min 56 s, in third place at the finish line and completed the course in 3 days 17 hours 08 minutes and 56 seconds.
