The Boot Düsseldorf has become an essential European boat show, welcoming a very large number of boats - 1800 boats - and representing all nautical sectors. Whether you're a sailing, diving, fishing, motorboat or water sports enthusiast, you'll find your world among the 17 exhibition halls. See you in Germany from 21 to 29 January 2017!

Boot in Düsseldorf is one of the largest boat shows in the world, and certainly the largest European boat show in terms of the number of boats exhibited. Organised in Germany from 21 to 29 January 2017, it takes place at Messeplatz Düsseldorf, on an area of 220,000 m2. A total of 17 exhibition halls will host some 1,800 exhibitors from 60 countries. More than 50 percent of the exhibitors now come from other European countries as well as from overseas. The major nautical nations are the Netherlands, Italy, France and Great Britain.

The German boat show provides an overview of the world nautical market since all sectors are represented: sailing, motorboats, superyachts, equipment, diving, tourism, fashionable sports, angling and canoeing... The show has made it its motto "Embark on a 360-degree water-sports tour." In total, more than 1,800 boats will be available for visitors to discover.

The world of sailing

More than 360 manufacturers of sailing yachts and sailing yachts, multihulls, catamarans, day-sailers and dinghies will be present at the Boot. Halls 15 to 17 will allow visitors to discover many different types and categories of sailing boats: sailing yachts, multihulls, sailing catamarans, dinghies..

The world of motorboats

The six exhibition halls - 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 17 - offer a very wide range of motorboats, from dinghy outboards, to the sporty open hull, to day cruiser, to boats with cabins or to semi-rigid and inflatable boats and superyachts. More than 250 shipyards, distributors and importers will be spread out to cover the entire world of motorboats in six halls of the show. Halls 5, 6 and 7a are reserved for Boot exhibitors who represent the segment of superyachts (approx. 60 superyachts), large yacht rafts, superyacht construction and superyacht equipment.

The world of diving

Diving is a fashionable sport that tends to develop more and more. In Germany, there are 670,000 people practising it every year and this trend has been steadily increasing for years, in this country as in other European countries. This is why two halls - hall 3 and a small part of hall 4 - are reserved for this activity: diving equipment, state-of-the-art wetsuits and accessories, diving instruction and dream destinations for diving.

Visitors who wish to do so can also do the baptism of diving in the 6 x 4.60 m pool, 1.80 m deep, after donning the complete diving equipment lent for the occasion.

The world of equipment and accessories

Equipment manufacturers and accessories dealers will be present in 2 halls ½ - half of hall 10 and halls 11 and 12 - to present engines, technical accessories, fittings, nautical instruments, sports clothing, marine publications, service providers or the refit centre.

The world of water sports

The Surfers Village will be located in Hall 2 and will host a nine metre wide stationary wave that can be surfed on. The Surfers Village also offers atmospheric beach bars, trendy surfing outfits and the latest surfboards. For beginners and professionals alike, the pool offers waves of different heights between 1 m and 1.5 m.

Hall 1 will host the "Beach World", the place for sports enthusiasts to discover the boards and kites of the coming season. A 1000 m2 pool will allow to attend shows and competitions: indoor stand-up paddle championships, indoor ski jam, wakeboard, etc...

The world of canoeing

Part of Hall 13 will be dedicated to adventure with a 90 m long, 3 m wide and 40 cm deep creek, slaloming between rocks and trees to test canoes and kayaks or enjoy a short family hike. The opportunity to also discover the world of fishing and many activities for children.

The world of tourism

The Beach Resort will take its quarters in halls 13 and 14 to present hotels, clubs and campsites located on the waterfront (sea or lakes) with a wide range of activities and water sports.

The exhibition is open from 21 to 29 January 2017, from 10 am to 6 pm. Price: 17 euros (e-ticket)/23 euros (on site).
