Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2024: new areas to change the visitor experience

Exciting new features await boating enthusiasts at the new edition of Grand Pavois 2024. Objectives: attract new visitors and satisfy exhibitors.

The Grand Pavois La Rochelle, to be held from Tuesday October 1 to Sunday October 6, 2024 at the Port des Minimes, announces an edition rich in new features and events. With revamped spaces and innovative services, this international afloat show aims to confirm its place among nautical events.

Grand Pavois Beach opens

The big news this year is the launch of the Grand Pavois Beach, open for just 4 days, from Thursday October 3 to Sunday October 6. Located on the Minimes beach, this space dedicated to water sports will offer a variety of activities such as initiations, skateboard demonstrations, film screenings, and even a DJ Set to close the days. This new space reflects the show's commitment to offering a dynamic experience, in the hope of attracting a new, younger clientele.

A space afloat dedicated to rental and cruising

In response to growing demand for more accessible charter and cruising solutions, the show is introducing the Rental & Cruising Area. Located on pontoon 7, this new space will be afloat, a first for the Grand Pavois. This change will enable better interaction between exhibitors and visitors, who will be able to project themselves onto a charter yacht. For exhibitors, the aim is to turn the experience into business opportunities.

Maritime heritage and know-how in the spotlight

The Espace Patrimoine & Tradition, now renamed Héritage & Savoir-faire, is also changing. It will continue to showcase prestige boats and traditional workboats, enriching the show's cultural offering with a focus on nautical heritage.

Benefits for FFVoile members and enhanced digital tools

The show renews its offer of free admission for all FFVoile licensees, underlining its partnership with the Fédération Française de Voile. In addition, the show's interactive map, launched in 2023, is enhanced to facilitate navigation around the show, marking another step towards a frictionless user experience.

Towards the future of nautical events

These developments herald an evolution in the way nautical events are conceived and experienced. With these new themed areas and new services, the Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2024 is evolving to meet the expectations of visitors and exhibiting professionals alike.
