With the Whaly 620, the Dutch manufacturer has set a new benchmark by offering its largest model ever produced in a single piece. At 6.20 meters long, this high-density polyethylene boat is positioned as a versatile platform, designed to withstand repeated, sometimes demanding use, without multiplying maintenance constraints.
A one-piece shell designed to last
The Whaly 620 is made from rotomolded, UV-stabilized and fully recyclable polyethylene. The hull is produced in a single piece, with double-wall construction. This minimizes structural weaknesses, resulting in a rigid unit with low sensitivity to impact and abrasion.

This type of material is of interest to professionals and yachtsmen alike. No gelcoat, no conventional stratification, no sensitivity to dock strikes or repeated groundings. The boat can take the strain without the need for regular cosmetic refurbishment.
Stability and load capacity at the heart of the program
With a width of 2.28 meters and a length of 6.20 meters, the Whaly 620 boasts a wide, stable platform. The limited draft of 0.25 m facilitates coastal approaches, shallow waters and frequent launching.

Carrying capacity is a key feature of this model. In category CE D, the boat is approved for 10 people, and 8 people in category CE C. This useful volume explains its positioning on a wide range of missions, from passenger transport to escorting, family boating or fishing.
The Whaly 620 accepts outboard motors of up to 80 hp in the standard version, and up to 115 hp in the 620R Professional version. Maximum engine weights are 170 kg and 180 kg respectively, depending on the version.
This power range allows the boat to be adapted to a wide variety of uses. Calm sailing, utility trips, or the need for occasional speed. The desired behavior remains deliberately predictable, with no sudden reactions - an important criterion for professional structures, but also for inexperienced users.
An enhanced version for professional use
The 620R Professional model features an even more robust structure. It is primarily intended for heavy-duty applications, such as workboats, rescue units, escort boats and rental companies.

The possibility of adding a more powerful motor meets specific needs, especially when travel time or responsiveness are essential parameters. The principle remains the same: a simple, resistant hull, designed to be used often, sometimes for a long time, without unnecessary immobilization.
Simple, adaptable layouts
The Whaly 620 is offered as a configurable base. With its steering console, bench seat with storage locker and engine layout, the boat can be adapted to suit the mission or navigation program.
This approach also appeals to yachtsmen looking for a functional boat without a heavy superstructure. Whether it's a fishing boat, a shuttle, a large tender or a robust leisure craft, the Whaly 620 doesn't seek to seduce by its design, but by its ability to meet a clear set of specifications.
Between work and pleasure

Made in the Netherlands, the Whaly 620 is part of a range of boats where durability takes precedence over appearance. Available in red, dark gray or light gray, with other colors on request, it assumes its utilitarian identity.
This model illustrates a well-established trend: simple, solid, easy-to-operate boats that are equally at home in professional and pragmatic boating. An assertive choice, which doesn't seek to please everyone, but which responds to clearly identified needs on the water.
