Pearl 63: what its launch on the 60-foot motor-yacht market reveals

Pearl Yachts will be exhibiting its Pearl 63 for the first time in Germany at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, from January 17 to 25. An opportunity to take a closer look at the technical and architectural features of this 18-meter model, as well as the British shipyard's ambitions for the European market.

British shipyard Pearl Yachts will be at Boot Düsseldorf 2026 to present the Pearl 63, a model that marks a strong positioning in the 60-foot motor-yacht segment.

A hull designed for autonomy and ease of use

With its Volvo IPS engine and Bill Dixon hull, the Pearl 63 is designed for use without a professional crew. The presence of a joystick, stability at low speeds and optimized fuel management are all designed with the sailing owner in mind. This type of audience is a growing segment of the superyacht market, with particular attention paid to maneuverability in marinas and comfort in family cruising.

A rare interior layout for an 18-meter

Four cabins, including a full-width owner's suite accessible via a private staircase, is an unusual configuration for this size. The optimization of on-board circulation and the emphasis placed on the owner's privacy demonstrate a quest for ergonomic volumes. Lateral openings in the aft cockpit, large bay windows and modular furniture transform spaces according to the needs of the day.

Dixon and Hoppen at work

Bill Dixon is responsible for naval architecture, while Kelly Hoppen is responsible for interior design. This duo, already working together on the shipyard's previous models, brings continuity to the identity of Pearl units. The modular approach, the choice of several interior ambiances and the materials selected allow customization without going overboard.

An aggressive strategy in the German market

The Boot Düsseldorf attracts a discerning public, often loyal to the major German and Italian brands. Pearl Yachts, through its local distributor Pearl Germany, is seeking to consolidate its presence in Central Europe. This German premiere of the Pearl 63 is not insignificant: it is part of a growth strategy targeting areas where high-end motor yachting remains dynamic.

Pearl 73, the future link in the range

The British shipyard will also present the first visuals of the Pearl 73, expected to be a pivotal model between the 63- and 82-foot models. The objective seems clear: to retain the aesthetic and practical codes of existing models, while increasing accommodation capacity and extended use possibilities. This model could be of interest to owners wishing to take a step forward without falling into the constraints of permanently crewed yachts.
