A sailboat built for planing pleasure
The all-new First 30 from Bénéteau introduces a new concept in sailboats: the "planing cruiser", a new concept in "race-cruising" that's more accessible and comfortable. Designed to offer exceptional gliding sensations, this yacht aims to provide exhilarating moments on board thanks to its ability to glide. Once reserved for the most experienced sailors, this sensation is now accessible to all, thanks to an ingenious design that facilitates handling, even at high speed. This new 10.33 m model joins the range between the First 27 and First 36.
Comfort and manoeuvrability, the signature of the First 30
One of the major advantages of the First 30 is its ease of use. With its uncluttered cockpit, simple rigging and light loads, it can be sailed by a small crew, or even single-handed. Whether you're sailing with family or friends, this yacht allows you to sail serenely without the need for advanced skills or long hours of training.
Two deck layout options are available, one for cruising sailors, the other for racing sailors. In the cruising configuration, the mainsail and jib sheets are controlled by large winches, so that setting the sails does not require too much physical strength. The racing configuration features a mainsail traveler and a few additional trimming controls to create a maneuvering space suitable for racing sailors.
Below deck, the interior elegantly combines performance and conviviality. With its two spacious cabins, it can accommodate up to four people, offering comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. The interior design has not been neglected: durable materials such as cork for the floors and innovative storage solutions add a touch of modernity and comfort, such as magnetic doors. The optional premium package adds functionality and interior style with high-quality upholstery, additional lounge backrests, a cutting board, choice of colors and materials, and mood lighting.

A design that combines innovation and heritage
The First 30 continues a long tradition of high-performance sailing yachts, initiated by the Bénéteau shipyard in 1977 with the launch of the first First 30 in the range. Working with Seascape, Bénéteau has assembled a team of renowned designers and engineers, including naval architect Samuel Manuard and designer Lorenzo Argento, to create a yacht that combines speed, comfort and ease of handling.
An affordable price to appeal to the widest possible audience
One of the surprises of the First 30 is its attractive price, starting at ?100,000 before tax, making yachting more accessible. Bénéteau has also introduced flexible financing options.
With this yacht, Bénéteau is targeting both experienced sailors and new yachtsmen who want to discover the pleasures of fast, comfortable sailing. The official launch of the First 30 will take place in January 2025 at the Boot boat show in Düsseldorf, providing an opportunity to discover this innovative yacht.
