A Spanish design
California-based Offshore Yachts has teamed up with Spanish naval architecture firm Barracuda Yacht Design to design the CE Series. This includes trawler models from 65 to 72 feet, taking up the brand's heritage in terms of capacity, seakeeping and driving comfort, while sporting a more modern design.
The new CE 65 has a contemporary hull with a deep V and double chine, reminiscent of the brand's existing models. The almost plumb bow, long waterline and flat stern sections should generate low drag for low-speed day cruising.

Several layout versions
The flybridge and superstructure with its high, wide windows modernize the boat. The luminous, spacious main saloon positioned aft is directly integrated into the cockpit, providing a feeling of openness to the outside world. The Explorer and Cruiser variants offer different layout combinations: a galley aft or amidships, but also different uses for the foredeck space, and a different location for the tender on the flybridge or bathing platform.

The interior ambience can be customized according to a "Classic" or "Contemporary" style for panelling, ceilings, furniture or fabrics.

Accommodation includes an option of 3 full-width VIP cabins, a rare feature on most boats, or an option with 4 cabins, offering a total of 8 berths.

Additional crew quarters with private bathroom, or a workshop/laundry room for storage are installed on board.
The boat is fitted with 2 MAN i6 âeuros 850's, giving it a cruising speed of 17 to 20 knots and a top speed of 22 to 28 knots.

Top-of-the-range pricing
This new European-designed range will appeal to the American market thanks to its interior views, but also its outdoor entertaining areas. The price tag starts at $4.9 million.
