A new range called Le Mans
In recent years, Italian shipyard Rio Yachts has undertaken a major renewal of its range. The builder has focused on producing sportier, more practical hulls with a distinctive design, notably through its Daytona range of open launches, comprising the Daytona 34, 35, 45 and 50.
Rio Yachts introduces a new Le Mans range for the 2024 season. As sporty and high-performance as ever, these yachts retain the distinctive elements of the Daytona range, and are produced in the same hull molds, but are distinguished by a different program. Each model is topped by a fiberglass hard-top extending from the glass windshield, which protects the entire cockpit for greater protection under sail - ideal for long cruises - and greater comfort in the cabins. The Le Mans range is designed for comfortable, safe and relaxed cruising.
Designed by Marino Alfani, the first two models were Le Mans 45 and Le Mans 50.

Two models of hard-top cruisers
The Le Mans 45 will be launched in the summer of 2024, while the Le Mans 50 has already been launched. These hard-top launches are 13.70 m and 14.90 m long respectively. Both models, with their symmetrical lines and slender bow, feature the same layout.
The spacious cockpit can be transformed into a large terrace on the water, thanks to two tilting bulwarks and the aft platform. There's a generous sunbathing area, a tender garage and removable bench seats to personalize the layout and create a large sofa around the fixed table.

The cockpit, with its modern design, adjoins an outdoor kitchen. Wide, secure gangways ensure easy access to the front sundeck.

The interior, designed by SY Design, is an open, versatile space bathed in light. Both cabins offer four berths and a bathroom. In the larger model, the bathroom features a separate shower.
Both are category B approved and can accommodate up to 12 people.

The Le Mans 50 is powered by two 2 x 550 hp Yanmar engines, giving it a cruising speed of 35/40 knots. An outboard version is also available with 3 Mercury Verado engines totalling 1200 hp (3 x 400 hp). For Le Mans 45, the inboard version is powered by 2 x 370 hp Yanmar, which should give it a top speed of 38 knots and 32 knots at cruising speed. The outboard version is powered by 2 x 400 hp Mercury Verado.
