7 men, 7 women

Perfect parity among French sailors for the next Olympic Games. After several years of preparation and sacrifice, these athletes pass a crucial milestone by being selected in their discipline. From July 26 to August 11, 2024, they will be keen to defend the colors of the French sailing team, led by Philippe Mourniac, who says:

" Since Tokyo, where we won 3 medals, we've made great strides in our selection. For these new Olympiads, we have great potential, and in each of the series "

Historic supports for the Olympic Games

For this double-handed dinghy, the women's crew will consist of Sarah Steyaert and Charline Picon, who switched disciplines after winning gold in 2016 and silver in 2021 in windsurfing.

A notoriously difficult stretch of water

By all accounts, nothing is certain on Marseille's stretch of water, which is proving extremely complex to tame. At the beginning of August, conditions can vary from mistral to calms. Surrounded by high relief and several islands, variations and devents are important and can create surprises.
