Regal, the Orlando-based shipyard, well known for its large bow-riders and day cruisers, caused a sensation in Miami with the presentation of the 50 SAV, the new flagship of its range. Quite impressive for its dimensions (50′ LOA, 14′ 8″ beam), the boat is equally impressive for its deck layout. The new Regal is intended to be highly versatile, hence its name SAV (Sport Activity Vessel), and aims to offer the maximum number of possibilities for a day or a few days on the water.
A boat designed for all nautical activities
The aft cockpit features a deck area unrivalled in its class, thanks to the fold down gunnels. The cockpit is also extended by an aft platform at the same level, which effectively transforms what's left of the transom aft into a central island. This island incorporates two livewells, a folding bench seat and a number of storage compartments.

Opposite this bench seat is a second block with another bench seat and, on the other side, an outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, fridge and storage.

A full load of technology
Two rows of seats accommodate six people in luxurious comfort. The armrests of the front seats are extended by inclined screens so that you can control everything from your seat, a concept called Garmrest by Garmin.

The seats can also be adjusted electrically. The helm features three large 22-inch screens and all the necessary controls, including a joystick.

A large windshield and a huge T-top provide a good protection.
The front of the boat offers L-shaped seating for five to six people, with the option of adding a table in the middle and the possibility to transform the whole area into a sundeck.

For fishermen, in addition to the two aft livewells, the 50 SAV also includes 19 rod holders and a rinsing system.
A cabin to sleep four people
Taking advantage of its size, the Regal 50 SAV has a particularly welcoming sleeping area. There's a saloon that can be converted into a double berth in the bow, and another cabin with a double berth under the cockpit. As far as the latter is concerned, although the headroom is a little modest, the space available is surprisingly generous. In addition to the bed, there's a large sofa, and for added privacy, the space can be closed with a curtain.

Finally, a large head with separate shower completes the layout.

Up to 1 000 000 possible customizations and 1 800 hp
Depending on the level of finish chosen, the Regal can be fitted with a complete multimedia system, including a 55-inch TV screen. In addition, with its choice of lighting, fabrics, woodwork and equipment, the shipyard is announcing hundreds of thousands of possible customizations.

In terms of dynamics, the Regal 50 is based on the OceanTrac2 hull and boasts up to 1,800 hp - 4 x 450 hp or 3 x 600 hp. For added comfort at anchor, the Regal 50 can also be fitted with a Seakeeper 6.
