4 stages for the Engie Kite Tour 2024

The Engie Kite Tour is a competition open to everyone, whatever their level. For 2024, the Fédération Française de Voile is proposing a 4-stage circuit, during which 3 days of competition and festivities are organized in kitefoil, twin-tip, directional or wingfoil. The first stage will take place in Fréjus from May 31 to June 2. This will be followed by Lorient from June 21 to 23, Le Touquet from September 13 to 15, and the grand finale at La Grande Motte from September 27 to 29.

7th place for Jean-Baptiste Bernaz

Wednesday February 31 saw the final of the ILCA 7 Men's Singlehanded Dinghy World Championship. Jean-Baptiste Bernaz, whose goal is to win the 2024 Olympic Games, finished in 7th place. Matt Wearn, racing on home turf in Adelaide, Australia, won the event, followed by Norway's Hermann Tomasgaard (2nd), and England's Michael Beckett (3rd).

A new technical stopover on the Arkea Ultim Challenge

It was Thomas Coville's turn on Sodebo Ultim 3 to make a stopover to repair part of the torn balcony and protective netting. While he was in second place on January 30, when the decision was made, it was in Hobart, Tasmania, that the sailor decided to stop.

Registration for the Tour de Belle-Île is now open

The 11th edition of the Tour de Belle Île will be held from May 3 to 5, 2024 in La Trinité-sur-Mer, Morbihan. The regatta, taken over by OC Sport Pen Duick in spring 2023, is open to all racing and cruising yachts of 6 m minimum, with no maximum size. The program includes a 42-mile Grand Tour and a 37-mile P'tit Tour. Registration for the event, which is making a comeback after a 4-year absence, is now open, and participants can take advantage of a preferential rate until February 13, 2024.
