On the Olympic waters of the Beijing Olympics, the Maralpine Louise Cervera won with authority at the end of a world championship contested in extreme conditions. After four days without racing, the wind finally picked up, giving the fleet six decisive races. The 27-year-old sailor, in fine form since her 10th-place finish at the Marseilles Games in 2024, dominated the proceedings.
