Centouno Navi Vespro, a design to match the finishes

From the rear platform to the hard-top, the F1-style console, the sundeck and the interior spaces, the Vespro's layout spares no effort to stand out from the crowd. Take a look in this 2nd part of our test.

The overall lines of the Vespro are reminiscent of classic open boats, but with a very contemporary twist. The deck and hull lines are extremely fluid, with no compromise on aerodynamics or glide. The focus is on high performance and generous living space.

VIP private tour

Boarding is via a ladder integrated into the very large skirt. The stern area is totally modular: the large sofas can be grouped together to form a single solarium, leave a central passageway or frame a large telescopic table integrated into the deck. Two large side bulwarks can be lowered to increase the relaxation area and provide privileged access to the bathing area.

The engine hold, accessible via an electric gantry supported by a huge jack, houses the two 1200 hp Man V8 engines.

Hard-top: a question of style and performance

The hard-top is one of the Vespro's major styling elements. Shapely and highly aerodynamic, it houses on its sides the air intakes required for the engine combustion chamber. A visual success, as is the very wide, bevelled retractable windshield, which offers additional space inside and wind-in-the-hair cruising, weather permitting.

The helm station is in the same vein: very voluminous, almost oversized, it adopts a very racing style. The F1-inspired half-moon helm clearly sets the tone for a dayboat built for speed.

Four steps lead to the foredeck, covered by a huge solarium. The flow of movement is natural, and the teak upholstery conveys a sense of luxury to bare feet. No freeboard to break the fluidity of the bow line. It's easy on the eyes, but makes it impossible to sail with passengers up front, at the risk of losing them.

At its end, the Vespro ends in a futuristic little pyramid, modeled on the prow of a Venetian gondola. It houses the high-performance loudspeaker system for musical navigation.

In the cabin, luxurious details and comfort

Back on the main deck, all you have to do is descend four more steps to find yourself in what looks more like a luxurious Italian apartment than the interior of a boat. The muffled sound of doors with branded handles closing heavily, meticulously crafted finishes and furnishings in mahogany and lacquered white and black woods, classify the Vespro's interior in the superyacht category, despite its "modest" size. Thick carpeting and generous natural light add a cosy touch. A saloon, complete with galley, separates the two cabins, which are equipped with separate washrooms and showers. The ultimate in comfort for maritime adventures.
