A DNA based on the Commuter

The Wellcraft 355 was inspired by the Commuter concept, which was developed in the United States in the last century. This type of long, narrow boat allowed the upper class of New York to travel from Manhattan to Connecticut without having to use the road network.

Seaworthy and fast, the Commuter boats had to be able to cross quickly, whatever the conditions encountered.

A renewal in the range

In order to maintain its image as a high-performance fishing boat, Wellcraft has rethought the DNA of its brand by designing the 355, which heralds the renewal of the entire line.

The Wellcraft 355's hull was designed by Michael Peters, who has acquired unparalleled expertise in offshore design, and who has been collaborating with the Beneteau-Jeanneau group for many years. Manufactured in Infujection, a process combining injection and infusion, the Wellcraft 355 benefits from a meticulous finish for a displacement of 8 tons in running order, which is relatively high compared to its competitors.

" Michael Peters has designed a narrow hull, 11.85 m long, with a straight bow, two very pronounced strakes and long strakes. It is a configuration that has proven itself "Martin Meyer, product manager for the site, explains.
