A sporty and aggressive design
In the tradition of the 40 Open Sunreef Power, from which it takes its hulls and inverted bows with a redan, the 55 Open Sunreef Power is a hard-top motor catamaran. Its sporty design is characterized by large hull windows and a glass superstructure with an inverted windshield. The large open cockpit, which can be closed by a bay window, offers two large sunbathing areas above the submersible bathing platform.
A spacious cockpit
The back of the bulwarks tilts to enlarge the seating area. At the bow, there are two L-shaped benches on each side, one with a coffee table, the other with a dining table. In the wheelhouse, a wetbar with refrigerator and ice maker is located next to the central steering position with a double seat. Two side windows at the cockpit level allow to reach the gangways quickly.
The 55 Open Sunreef Power's foredeck is accessible via the walkways with steps at the stern. There is a large sunbathing area for 3 people.
Several interior layouts depending on the program
Under the bridge, several amenities are proposed:
- 4 guest cabins and two bathrooms,
- 3 guest cabins, two bathrooms, one cabin with single bed and bathroom,
- 1 Master cabin on port side with bathroom, 1 guest cabin on starboard side with bathroom, 1 cabin with single bed and toilet
A crew cabin and a large storage space are positioned at the rear of the hulls.
A hybrid engine
As for the engine, the shipyard did not want to reveal more, but announced a hybrid engine. The construction of this new model will be carried out in Dubai, in the new Sunreef yard.
