The Salpa Soleil 30 is a semi-rigid of 9.10 m fitted out for small cruising. Indeed, it has a very complete aft cockpit and a cabin that can accommodate two adults to sleep. Visit the living spaces of the boat.
A sunbathing XL, but not very protected
On the Salpa Soleil 30, life is planned on the outside. Indeed, a sunbathing area at the front covers the whole deck. Be careful with children, as the height of the optional balconies is quite limited. This will be all the more critical when maneuvering the anchor, but fortunately the windlass can be controlled from the helm.
Behind this front deck, the wheelhouse is well protected by a large windshield. It is quite high, and it is advisable to stand upright to see the road well.
In front of the helmsman, a large space is provided for a chart plotter with all the information for navigation. This wheelhouse area can be protected, as an option, by a bimini that deploys from the rigid roll bar at the rear, also as an option.
A highly protected helm station
For the pilot and his partner, the double seat offers a standing position. Both people will have to agree, as the seat is one piece.
This seat also hides the kitchen area, accessible by tilting it.
Please note that in this size of boat, you must ask the pilot to stop the boat and clear the space to access the kitchen. Underneath is a sink and space to install a cooking plate. A fridge is located underneath in the base of the seat.
A modular rear square
The dining area is framed by a U-shaped bench at the back. Note the clever storage of the table in this dining area, which finds its place on the ground, acting as a floor. It's simple, practical and very clean. The backrest tilts to transform this space into a sunbathing area, but also to facilitate access to the aft decks on either side of the engines. The port side has a swim ladder that is complemented by a handrail that makes getting out of the water a pleasure.
In the cabin, the layout is classic with a double berth in the forward V and a toilet on starboard. It will be very practical to change for day trips, but a couple can also plan a longer trip with good comfort.
