Tackling the Crossover Yacht Market
Announced at the 2019 Autumn shows, the Prestige X70 will make its debut in September 2020. This 21.83 m speedboat is the first model of the brand new X-Line range, which will be composed of "cCossover" yachts.
With this new model, Prestige enters the crossover market, previously represented by custom superyachts and more recently by brands such as the Italian Cranchi and the British Princess Yachts.
"The idea of this range is to bring innovation with redistributed interior and exterior spaces, the elimination of gangways for an enlarged space and a very large flybridge" explained Erik Stromberg, the brand's Marketing and Product Development Director.

Absent side decks for a living space that exploits the entire width of the boat
To design the X70, the luxury flagship brand of French carmaker Jeanneau has teamed up with the Garroni Design studio. The result is an ultra-spacious boat whose entire midship beam (5.34 m) has been exploited thanks to the elimination of side decks. In this way, the flybridge also makes use of the boat's almost full width, unlike traditional boats where it occupies only 70% of the midship beam. This design also makes it possible to enlarge the cockpit space, which is three times larger than on a traditional flybridge boat.

Four living areas on the main deck and a very large flybridge
The interior and exterior spaces are thus intimately linked, with a single-level main deck design and large bay windows that open completely between the main saloon and the cockpit, extended by a beautiful bathing platform accessible from side stairs. The latter can be fitted with benches, sun loungers and/or a large dining table.

Access to the large flybridge - which features a double exterior cockpit, a dining area, a relaxation area and a large front bench seat - is from two side staircases in the cockpit. A hardtop with an opening roof shades the space and can be fitted with protection for outdoor cruising, protected from the elements.

The main deck is composed of 4 distinct areas in a completely open and bright space. The helm station installed at the front of the boat is huge and very well equipped, giving the feeling of steering a large yacht, and benefits from a 180° view. The galley is located in the centre of the boat and communicates with the flybridge thanks to the side stairs installed on the foredeck. Finally, at the stern, the large saloon is an extension of the cockpit.

Despite the absence of side decks, traffic on board will be able to flow easily. The access to the front beach for example is done from the fly or directly from the inside of the boat thanks to a side exit.

A spacious and comfortable sleeping area
Below deck, the owner's cabin installed at the bow exploits the entire width of the boat and has a large private bathroom, dressing room and numerous storage spaces. Access is from the front of the main deck via a private staircase.
Sleeping space is offered in several versions - one double cabin and two central cabins with twin beds and two bathrooms - or two double cabins with their own bathroom. The latter also have their own access. Finally, a crew cabin with a double bed is located at the rear of the boat.

To attract a demanding clientele, the Prestige X70 is customizable. Each owner can thus choose his own layout and furniture (tables, chairs, sun loungers, sofas...).
For the engine, the X70 will be equipped with IPS 1200 or IPS 1350, IPS technology allowing for easier boat manoeuvring.
