Rhea Trawler 34, the trawler for the small family cruise

Rhea Marine's Trawler 34

The Trawler 34 which is largely inspired by its big brother the Trawler 36 comes to take the place of the entry level Trawler of Rhea Marine. With a length of 10 m, it offers a comfortable living space and two cabins for a small or long family cruise.

While it was due to be presented at the Nautic 2018, the launch of Rhea Marine's Trawler 34 will take place in September 2019, at the Grand Pavois de la Rochelle. A postponed launch which is certainly explained by the Experton-Revollier group will take over the company in the summer of 2017 (Wauquiez and Latitude 46).

This fourth model in the Trawler range is 9.96 m long (10.40 m overall length) and takes the place of the entry-level model. Its design is inspired by its big brother the Trawler 36 (built to 18 units) and offers comfortable accommodation for spending a day at sea or going on a small family cruise. With its affordable dimensions and its ability to run aground, the Trawler 34 offers great sailing prospects.

Both sturdy and elegant, this family model plays the safety card: closed transom, wide and symmetrical side decks, well protected by high bulwarks and handrails, easy boarding thanks to the coupé doors and easy circulation on board with two side wheelhouse doors.

On the main deck are the saloon area, the fully equipped galley and the helm station on the starboard side. At the rear, the glass door and kitchen window opens to create a single interior/exterior space.

Below deck, there are two cabins that can be connected to create a single large owner's cabin thanks to a retractable bulkhead. Thanks to its tuliped bow, the Trawler 34 should offer beautiful interior volumes.

The Trawler 34 is available in a flybridge version - it is in this version that it will be presented in La Rochelle - and in a sedan version - already under construction at the shipyard. Two types of engines are available - single or twin-engine: Yanmar 1x370 HP (18 knots max) or Yanmar 2x250 HP (21 knots).

A great novelty, this model was built in France, in the shipyard based in La Rochelle. Previously, trawlers were built in Istanbul, Turkey.

Price: From 332?500 euros HT for a single-engine sedan version
