Bénéteau Monte Carlo 52, the first new generation model

The Bénéteau Monte Carlo 52

In September 2019, the Vendée Bénéteau will launch its new Monte Carlo 52 in Cannes. This elegant 16.25 m long boat retains the characteristics that made the range so successful, but offers more space inside and out. The hull has also been redesigned for greater navigational comfort.

The arrival of the second generation

In September 2019, Bénéteau will launch the new Monte Carlo 52, a 16.25 m overall length cruiser. This model replaces the Monte Carlo 5, launched in 2013, in the range, which now has 2 models, along with the Monte Carlo 6 (18.35 m).

The Monte Carlo marks the arrival of the second generation of Bénéteau's elegant yachts, characterized by their large round hull windows. The Monte Carlo 2 retains the attributes of its predecessors, but offers more space than the one it replaces, gaining in length and width.

New hull and IPS transmission

The boat has a new hull, worked to offer more performance and comfort. With an evolving V at 15°, the hull has a very tuliped bow, providing a very good passage at sea and a better protection against the spray. Two Volvo IPS transmission options are available: 2 x Volvo IPS 600 or 650. Top speed is expected to be 27 knots and cruising speed between 20 and 22 knots. Range is 180 miles at cruising speed.

A cosy and spacious interior

On the main deck, there is an opposite galley, installed at the back, directly connected to the cockpit. The sliding bay window allows you to enjoy a large interior/exterior space. Outside, the large L-shaped bench seat allows you to enjoy an outdoor lunch. The starboard staircase offers access to the flybridge.

inside, the dining area with an L-shaped bench seat for 6 people is on the starboard side and a 2-seater sofa is opposite, with a 40" retractable television. The steering position for two people is located on the starboard side. The main deck is bathed in light thanks to the large windshield and the windows that surround the superstructure. Two opening windows allow for ventilation.

Three large cabins and two bathrooms

Below deck, the owner's cabin with a surface area of 16.5 m2 is installed in the middle and has an independent access. It has a central double bed, private bathroom and dressing room. The VIP cabin is located on the opposite side of the deck, in the tip. It also has a double bed and openings through the deck windows.

A third guest cabin offers twin beds that can be converted into a double bed, and a second bathroom is positioned on the port side.

Well-equipped exteriors

The exteriors now each have their own particularity. The foredeck offers a large sunbathing area for lounging, while the flybridge is more suitable for lunching/dining with friends/family or for relaxing while remaining close to the pilot.

The Euro area, which can be protected by an optional T-top with electric sunroof, is equipped with a fully equipped galley, a living room for eight guests, a large reclining bench seat on the starboard side, an L-shaped co-pilot's seat in the bow and a steering position on the port side.

Ready for the big cruise

Suitable for long distance cruising, the Monte Carlo 52 offers large fuel tanks: (1,300 liters of fuel and 400 liters of water. The Vendée shipyard announces a consumption of 120 liters/hour and a yield of 6 liters/nautical mile.
