For the 2019 season, the Navily application is evolving. After the possibility to access information on anchorages and ports via a web interface (accessible by computers) launched in August 2018, the new version for mobile (IOS and Android) was launched on June 2nd 2019. It brings new features including Navily Premium

Off line mode

The Navily application is free. Access to information on anchorages and ports is also free. But this information is only accessible within network range, while connected. For offshore sailors, who are too far from land, the Premium version allows you to download the information before departure and consult it "off line". You load the data on anchorages close to your arrival area and you can study and choose even offshore.

A weather analysis

The Premium version of Navily provides you with weather files. But above all the weather analysis according to the chosen anchorage areas. Indeed, the Navily application provides information on anchorage protection. When combined with the weather, this will tell you whether the anchorage will be protected or not over the next 24 hours. It is a real service, an advice to reassure the yachtsman and help him in his decision to stay at anchor or not.

Book your berth at no extra cost

If Navily shows you the right anchorages informed by the user community (more than 130,000 users before the 2019 season), it is also a way to easily book a port. Whereas a commission was collected by Navily, since April 2019, this commission is now reduced to zero. Thus a user who books the port via the application benefits from the same rates as if he books directly by telephone.

It is possible to make a reservation request in several different ports. As soon as the first reservation is validated, the others are cancelled automatically. Today the application offers this service in more than 620 ports from England to Greece.
