This is a very young opportunity since the production of the Sun Odyssey 33i stopped in 2014.
Between the 36 and the 30, a logic 33 was necessary in 2009 to replace the 32 i. More volume, 64 cm more waterline, identical sail area - and price too - the Sun Odyssey 33i adapts to a market in crisis, one year after the big drop in the market in 2008.
Very corporate design, too much perhaps - but elegant and still in touch eight years after its launch. The Marc Lombard plan is available in short, long and weighted ballast (10 to 15% of the fleet, i.e. about sixty specimens).
Only one wheel - there are two aboard the new 349 - and only two cabins: the Sun Odyssey 33i is indeed an owner's yacht.

The Performance version with its extended mast is the perfect choice for those who like to tie half knots. On the standard version, the genoa without cover does not require any particular effort, i.e. a sailboat adapted to family crews, but which will nevertheless be able to surprise its helmsman: this 10 m is walking like an airplane, does not hit the chop and above all moves with two fingers. From 4 Beaufort, we can expect 6 to 6.5 knots upwind at 45° to the wind, and 8 knots downwind under spinnaker.
