In addition to the X4 3 of the X6 5 launched in 2016 and the X4 9 launched in January 2018 at the Düsseldorf boat show, the Danish shipyard X-Yachts announces that the launch of the X4 6 which is scheduled to be launched in July 2018.
This range combines all the know-how of the shipyard for 40 years. The yachts are both high-performance with a sea passage characteristic of narrow hulls, appreciating upwind sailing, but above all very comfortable even with a small crew. This "Purement X" range will be as comfortable for cruising during the summer as for winter training with a crew of regatta sailors.
The elegant and racy line is dressed with a teak cockpit for refinement (teak side decks are optional). To avoid loss of performance, the cockpit floor clew is located vertically above the end of the boom. A self-tacking jib option frees the cockpit from the sheets. The cockpit is closed by an aft platform (also covered with teak) which opens with an electric jack.
On the accommodation side, the yacht comes standard with 3 cabins. The owner's cabin at the front has a "King Size" bed while the aft cabins are asymmetrical, the port cabin being a little wider allowing it to be fitted out with separate beds. The X4 6 has two bathrooms as standard.
The L-shaped galley on the port side faces the chart table, which has a concealed location for electronics. The U-shaped saloon just ahead allows 8 guests to invite themselves in peace and quiet.
The basic version of this cruiser-racer is proposed at 386 500 euros HT with a very complete equipment (discontinuous Rod rigging for example).
