Quicksilver will present two of the three new Bowrider models as world premieres at the Nautic 2017. The shipyard will present to the public the two largest models in the range: the Activ 755 Bowrider and the Activ 605 Bowrider. The smaller model - the Activ 555 Bowrider - will be presented later in the year, as Sylvain Perret, Product Marketing Manager of the group explains.
"The 555 Bowrider will be sent directly to our network and will be presented at our dealers' small trade shows. This type of small unit is in high demand and there is great expectation from our dealers."
For the moment composed of 3 models, new boats will see the light of day, including one next year. "We're going to expand this range with new models. The 755 is already big for a bowrider, it's rare to see this type of unit longer than 7.50 m" indicates Sylvain.
The Activ 555 Bowrider
The Activ 555 Bowrider is designed on a new hull, with a new hull shape, as for the Activ 605 Bowrider. This versatile entry-level model is designed for couples and families looking for space in a compact bowrider (5.01 m). Notable features include a forward saloon that converts into a sundeck, a fully enclosed cockpit that can be converted into a dining area with a removable teak cockpit table (which can be stored in the cockpit hatch).
On board, there is plenty of storage: under the aft bench seat or below deck, in the glove box on the helm station for personal items... The Activ 555 Bowrider has an ergonomic helm station with all the necessary instrumentation, a GPS and 7" plotter as an option. Finally, the large bathing platform at the stern provides easy access to the water. The Activ 555 Bowrider has between 80 and 115 hp outboard.

The Activ 605 Bowrider
Like its little brother, the 605 Bowrider was designed on a new hull. This 5.73m model has the same features as the 555 Bowrider, but with improved functionality. At the bow, there is a large U-shaped saloon that easily converts into a sundeck. Similarly, the modular cockpit converts into a dining area with its removable cockpit table, which can easily be stored in the cockpit hatch. In the floor, there is also a 12v icebox to enjoy cool drinks. The helm station receives the same facilities as the smaller model, with GPS and optional 7" plotter.
The water drainage system on the bow keeps the boat dry and prevents water accumulation. Finally, as on the other models in the range, the rear platform makes it easy to get in and out of the water, thanks to a folding ladder. The Activ 605 Bowrider receives from 100 to 150 hp outboard.

The Activ 755 Bowrider
Unlike its two smaller brothers, the Activ 755 Bowrider has the same hull design as the 755 Cruiser introduced in 2016. "You could say he's the brother of the 755 Cruiser. It has almost the same deck layout all the way to the cockpit." indicates Sylvain.
This 6.99m model is the largest in the range and combines a high level of safety, streamlined design and improved on-board comfort. The aft cockpit takes up the modularity of the two other models: sailing, dining, but also sunbathing. The back of the L-shaped cockpit bench seat (the bench seat is straight on the two smaller models) reclines by 120° for relaxing or reading or by 180° offering an extra large sunbathing area for direct and easy access to the water.
The ergonomic helm station has the necessary instrumentation with integrated armrests and cup holders or an optional Simrad 9" GPS fishfinder, all surrounded by an elegant tinted windscreen with a central opening. As an option, a cockpit galley with sink and stove can be installed on board the 755 Bowrider.
As with the other models, the bowrider with U-shaped bench seat can be transformed into a sunbathing area. On-board comfort is superior with integrated armrests. There is also a drainage system to keep the boat dry. Various engine configurations are available, from 150 to 300 hp.

The entire Bowrider range is available in the Smart edition, which includes all options. With shorter delivery times, this package saves an average of 10% compared to individual options.
