The Princess 49 from the Princess Yacht shipyard will be one of the expected new releases of 2016. She will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, alongside the 30 M. This new 15.55 m motor yacht completes the flybrigde range, already composed of 8 models, ranging from the Princess 43 (14.5 m) to the Princess 88 Motor Yacht (26.82 m).
The Princess 49 is the first model in the flybridge range to be equipped with the IPS Pod Drive system. Thanks to Volvo Penta's system, the boat is maneuverable, relatively quiet and fast, but also more fuel efficient. The hull has been optimized to accommodate the latest IPS system. It can reach a fast speed of 35 knots or a high cruising speed of 30 knots, but still economical.
Outside, there are three spaces:
- The flybridge has a two-seat helm station, an L-shaped convertible settee (which converts to a sunbathing area) and a spacious aft lounge area with folding table.

- Square in the large cockpit.
On the main deck, there is a very bright salon with panoramic windows and a fully equipped kitchen facing the cockpit. A refrigerator/freezer and an ice maker can be installed as an option. The kitchen is separated from the cockpit by three sliding doors. In this area there is also a steering console with two armchairs.
On the lower deck âeuros which access is through the front âeuros, there are three cabins. The ownerâ??s cabin is located in the center of the boat (on the whole width) and has its private bathroom. A double cabin is located at the bow (the beds can become twin beds) and a cabin with bunk bed is installed on the starboard side. Both cabins share a bathroom installed on board.
