The latest addition, the Gazelle Breizh

In the beginningâeuros¦ The launch of the Gazelles des Sables
It all began 10 years ago, when Patrick Besnié, a naval architect, decided to build a boat for Marie Besnié. All around them, the small boat was a hit, and the couple embarked on the adventure of producing boats. " We set up as professionals without assuming that the Gazelle des Sables, the small model, was going to become a microphenomenon of the nautical world" explains Marie. And today, it's no understatement to say that the Gazelle des Sables shipyard has 300 boats underway, in France and abroad. " The principle is to take up an elegant aesthetic and in this respect traditional sailboats have remarkable lines and very high performance from which we were inspired to give birth to this range of neo-traditional boats which know how to bring the aesthetics of tradition and the comfort of modern equipment says Marie.
These small sailboats of less than 4 meters bring the same sensations as on a keelboat and have disconcerting performances. The philosophy of the shipyard? To create a range of boats to enjoy sailing, whether you are an experienced sailor or a novice, as Marie explains " In any case, it's about having fun sailing, which means having very innovative equipment that allows us to always keep things simple and safe, in addition to the performance of our hulls, which have been tested by more than 300 families now and it's true that it's a big success."
A range of three sailboats
10 years ago, the Gazelle des Sables was born, which is the flagship of the shipyard. This small model of 2.70 meters weighs 55 kg on land and carries 1 to 2 people on board. 1 ½ year ago was born the Gazelle des Iles, " the big sister" which can carry up to 5 adults but keeps the easy handling on land by one person and the comfort and performance that made the reputation of the Gazelle des Sables workshops. Today, the Gazelle Breizh is released " We continue our way with a boarding of 3 to 4 people on board on an intermediate model, that is to say smaller than the Gazelle des Iles and larger than the Gazelle des Sables ."

Comfortable, efficient and safe boats

Today, the workshops of La Gazelle des Sables are present on the Nautic of Paris for about 10 years and have started to develop their export activities, notably by being present at other major foreign trade shows, such as Düsseldorf.
