The Fédération des Industries Nautiques has unveiled the outline of the new Île-de-France boat show, which is heading for the Hauts de Seine. New multi-site format, new dates and ambitious objectives.

From Nautic to Nautic en Seine

While the traditional Paris Boat Show would have been held at the Porte de Versailles, cancelled in 2023, the Fédération des Industries Nautiques - FIN - its organizer has unveiled the outline of Nautic en Seine, the event that will succeed it, in the Hauts de Seine from 2024. The event will be held from October 15 to 20, 2024 at two sites on the banks of the Seine: the departmental nautical park on the Ile de Monsieur and Port Legrand in Boulogne Billancourt. Access will be by shuttle bus from Paris along the Seine, in addition to the usual shuttle buses linking the 2 sites.

A show on land and afloat

Lasting 6 days, the show will benefit from infrastructures on the 2 banks of the Seine. Caroline Popovici, FIN's Director of Operations, gives some figures: "The sites will be able to accommodate up to 150 boats afloat, of which around 30 will be offered for trial, and 80 boats ashore, with over 4,000 professionals expected to attend. 8,500 m² of onshore exhibition space will enable equipment suppliers, engine manufacturers, services, charterers and territories to complete the boat displays."

With a modest 230 boats on display, comparable to the last edition of the Nautic at Porte de Versailles, Nautic en Seine organizers are counting on two axes to create momentum. On the one hand, nautical destinations, particularly in France, both coastal and river, will be in the spotlight for "emphasize the discovery of practice areas" . On the other hand, the ecological transition should be the second hallmark of Nautic en Seine, according to the organizer, who is announcing a special day on the theme, as Fabien Métayer explains: "We plan to devote the day of Thursday October 17 to a moment of debate, exchange and prospective. For this occasion, we have reserved the Seine Musicale, on Ile Séguin, close to the Show. The aim is to provide all those involved in the water - professionals, water sports enthusiasts, local authorities, marinas, etc. - with a set of concrete solutions and fresh ideas."
