Jennifer Champin's career has been shaped by a constant quest for knowledge and discovery. After completing her studies in ancient history and geomorphology, she moved to Mayotte, where her destiny took an unexpected turn. A teacher by profession, it was on this island that she was introduced to the nautical world, which turned out to be a passion. This seemed rather unlikely for a girl from the East of France, who was not used to the ocean. Aboard sailboats, she set out on the waters of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic. During these voyages, she recorded her thoughts in logbooks, which led to the creation of an evocative book entitled: "N'effacez pas le sel de mes paupières" ("Don't wipe the salt from my eyelids"). With Bateaux.com, she finds a source of expression and sharing for all sailing enthusiasts.
