Visit Hanse 360 the new hanseYachts shipyard is distinguished by its sleek design and nautical performance. Designed by architects Berret-Racoupeau, this 36-foot (11.32 m) yacht follows in the footsteps of the German shipyard's previous models, with a modern approach focused on comfort and family or solo sailing. It is a versatile cruiser that can be customized to suit the needs of yachtsmen, making it a flagship model for the 2024-2025 season.

Exterior: Ergonomics designed for navigation

The Hanse 360 boasts modern, flowing lines. Its fore-and-aft chine hull, a hallmark of Hanse models, maximizes stability and offers substantial interior volume without compromising performance under sail. These chines increase stiffness when heeled, while providing more living space.

The deck layout has been designed to facilitate maneuvering, even when sailing single-handed. The model is equipped with two wheel steering systems and a single rudder, ensuring responsiveness at the helm and unobstructed visibility for the skipper. German-style mainsail maneuvers are all aft, leaving the companionway free and the cockpit safe. We only regret that when moving around on deck, the lower staysail obstructs the catwalk. The same goes for the bimini, which covers the entire cockpit but hinders forward movement.

The cockpit is spacious, with ergonomic bench seating and a free-flowing layout. The winches are raised, allowing easy passage from the sheets to the pianos. The integrated bathing platform at the stern is a welcome addition for anchoring and swimming. A barbecue option between the two steering wheels reinforces the boat's convivial spirit.

Two types of rig are available: a standard rig and a performance rig for racers and fast cruisers. The optional delphinière can accommodate a gennaker or an asymmetric spinnaker, extending sail potential and downwind performance.

Interior: Modular living space

The Hanse 360 innovates with a bright, modular interior designed to optimize comfort at sea. Numerous layout options allow you to configure the boat to suit your needs, with a choice of two or three double cabins and one or two heads. The yacht features 16 portholes and opening hatches, ensuring excellent ventilation and an abundance of natural light. There is no chart table, but is it still useful in today's sailing environment?

The forward owner's cabin offers a spacious double bed and optional en-suite shower room. The aft cabins can be configured as two double cabins or one cabin and additional storage space. The saloon can comfortably accommodate up to eight people around a table, available in several versions. The interior design, by Isabelle Racoupeau, features quality materials and a modern atmosphere, with a meticulous finish.

The L-shaped galley on the port side is functional and well-equipped, with the option of adding two additional refrigerators for a total capacity of 192 liters. Plenty of storage space keeps the interior tidy and practical, even on long cruises.

Navigation and technical equipment

Under sail, the Hanse 360 stands out for its high performance, thanks to a hull optimized for stability and speed. Its total sail area reaches around 61 m², with several sail configurations available to suit owners' preferences. Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the horn mainsail on the performance version, which increases sail area by around 6 m² compared to the standard version.

For maneuvering, the optional self-tacking jib and electric winches facilitate sail management, while the helm configuration makes the yacht ideal for single-handed sailing. Electrical autonomy is also a strong point of this model, with the option of a 25 kW electric motor ensuring up to 55 nautical miles of autonomy without wind.

Finally, for more traditional sailors, two diesel engine options are available: a 29 hp or 39 hp version.
