Hanse 410, a new architect for a mid-range benchmark

Renewal in the 40-foot sailing yacht category. After the Dufour 41 and the Bavaria 38, it's the turn of the Hanse 410 to announce its new look. This yacht heralds a new architect for the shipyard. Discover

Replacing the Hanse 418, the Hanse 410 - 41 feet and 12 m hull - is now designed by the Berret - Racoupeau architectural firm. This aggressive-looking cruising yacht with an inverted bow is designed for easy family cruising.

The fundamentals remain unchanged

This is where you'll find the famous self-tacking jib for which Hanses are famous. On these yachts, the masts are high to increase the surface area of the small jib, and a fixed delphinere ensures the installation of a useful gennaker as soon as you move away from the wind bed. All maneuvers are carried out in the large cockpit, far aft of the helm stations. There's no question of a piano on the deckhouse, where the ropes could get in the way of the relaxation area. The yacht comes with 2 winches as standard, but 2 others are also available as options. These can be used for spinnaker maneuvers.

A wide stern for a large cockpit

The cockpit divides in two, with a central circulation. These tables can be lowered to transform the seating area into a lovely sunbathing area. The deck is also a great place for sunbathing, and the flush opening hatches won't get in the way.

2 or 3 cabins, 1 or 2 bathrooms

Inside, the standard layout includes 2 cabins. A forward cabin with or without toilet, and an aft cabin on starboard. On the port side, aft of the galley, the space is taken up by a large hold accessible from inside through the galley floor.

Large kitchen

The L-shaped galley is large. It will be particularly efficient if the option of a second aft cabin is chosen, increasing the size of the crew. The port-side saloon is always accessible, with its table in the center. Forward circulation is staggered on starboard. An optional chart table is available. In this case, the starboard berth is reduced and the chart table has no seat.

Opening side windows

Of particular note in this saloon are the side portholes, all of which open. A good solution for ventilation when sailing in the sun. But be careful not to get your feet caught in them when you're on deck.
