IMOCA "Les P'tits Doudous" unveiled

On June 20, 2024, the hull and deck of Armel Tripon's IMOCA were demolded at the Duqueine Atlantique shipyard. This is the first IMOCA built using reused carbon, an evolution of Boris Herrmann's Malizia VPLP design. There's still a lot of composite work to be done, to continue structuring the deck and integrating parts into the hull, before decking. The rudders are being built by AMCO, and the foils by Avel Composites. Her first major sporting event will be the Transat Jacques Vabre 2025. At the same time, Armel Tripon has shown his solidarity by leaving his mast to Sam Goodchild, victim of a dismasting, who is preparing to take the start of the Vendée Globe 2024.

A final race for the Class40 Crédit Mutuel 158

After a second-place solo finish in The Transat CIC, Ian Lipinski is about to set sail for France in the Transat Québec Saint-Malo. While this is the skipper's first participation in the race, it will also mark the last race for the sailor's former Class40. For this crewed race, the skipper will be accompanied by Antoine Carpentier and Benoit Hantzperg. On his return, Ian Lipinski will prepare aboard his new Class40 Crédit Mutuel 202. The boat will make its first race at the start of the CIC Normandy Channel Race 2024 on September 15.
